“Be excellent to each other”

It’s a phrase that I honestly take to heart because of it’s simplistic beauty. Why shouldn’t we all try in our daily lives to better ourselves through helping others?

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m a huge fan of Bill and Ted, and while I’m very anxious to see how the new film is going to turn out, the originals still hold up today as an example of goofy humor.

However, a lot of people weren’t laughing at the Bill and Ted NES game, which was absolute garbage. If you ever had the displeasure to play this, then I feel sorry for you. The controls were awful, the strange time space dial-a-destiny screen with you floating through space choosing numbers to dial was painful, and you can't even walk on the grass. This was less Wyld Stallyns and more an absolute mare.

Yet ignoring this for a moment, Nintendo Power (once again proving themselves to be the absolute powerhouse of competitions) offered avid gamers the chance to win a REAL LIFE FULL SIZED BILL AND TED PHONE BOOTH! Not only would they come and install the set piece, but they would also pay for a full year's worth of calls!
