4. Infamous Condoms - Infamous: Second Son

Now, this is a truly bizarre entry because it details a company giving away free condoms to promote a game... more than once.

The game in question was Infamous: Second Son. The promotion was run through the Italian section of Gamestop as a pre order bonus; the bundle came with a copy of the game, two cans of Red Bull and a bunch of glow in the dark rubbers.

Understandably, this caused fans of the franchise to respond with a degree of puzzlement. “Why are you giving away condoms with this game? What do helmet hats have to do with Infamous?”

Well, nothing, as it turns out, but that didn’t stop Sucker Punch from also doling out these glow in the dark wang sheathes to the public at playable demo events.
