6. Some Lesser-Known Characters

Other than the actual building of Lego, the most crucial thing in a Lego game is the characters. The characters that are included or omitted and their abilities can make or break a Lego game. Obviously well get the biggest Marvel characters like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Avengers, but hopefully within the roster of 100+ characters there are some of the less high-profile Marvel names such as Spider-Man villains Shocker and Tombstone, or She-Hulk and Banshee. Playing as the unsung heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe would be a good addition to the game because (depending on how well the player knows the Marvel Universe) it means the players can discover new elements of the franchise through using these characters, as well as it adding new and different content to the game rather than just playing as variations of the more well known characters. Like all of the Jedi characters in Lego Star Wars being broadly the same. And Marvels a big universe with a massive amount of characters both well-known and obscure so its only logical to not shy away from including some of the lesser-known characters. Especially since Travellers Tales always make a point of researching their source material in a great deal of depth. Fortunately, this one's already looking like it's happening with quite a few of Marvel's more obscure characters such as Spider-Woman, Vulture, and... Howard The Duck being unlockable.
