8 Things We Want To See From Lego Marvel Super Heroes

7. No Useless Characters

Lego Marvel Superheroes Stan Lee Again, this is something that has begun to disappear from the Lego games in recent years but it still bears repeating. If a character€™s only abilities are to punch, build Lego, and jump, or not even that (I€™m looking at you, Chancellor Palpatine), they shouldn€™t be in the game. Every character needs to have some kind of ability or they€™re just filling space with no real purpose. Lego Marvel Super Heroes is set to include new character abilities such as Invisible Woman creating force fields and Captain America using his shield to complete electrical circuits, as well as old ones with Tony Stark inheriting Robin€™s ability to hack into control panels (Lego Batman and Lego Batman 2). So there€™s really no excuse for not giving every character at least one kind of ability. Especially with a game featuring so many superheroes and supervillains. But given that most Lego games have a few pretty useless characters either for the sake of completeness or for novelty value, this one may turn out to be a pipe dream. But Marvel creator Stan Lee is a playable character and will have several abilities including turning into the Incredible Hulk. Which is a good and wonderfully insane sign.
