It's always a bit of a glass-shattering moment to find out that your parents aren't perfect, but at least most of us won't have to deal with the rather odd situation that our dear Prince finds himself in come the start of Katamari Damacy.

For you see dear old dad, going by the rather modest name of King Of The Cosmos, has straight up accidentally deleted the entire universe, and while I'd normally say this would make for a rather awkward chat over the dinner table, having deleted everything from existence including the table will make this prospect slightly more difficult. Now as anyone who was snapped out of existence by Thanos would be able to tell you, being removed from reality itself is likely pretty terrible and would make you rather pissy towards the fat-fingered idiot responsible, however, what if I told you that the few remaining living things are about to have an even more terrible time?

That's because our sweet Prince is then tasked with rolling up all the objects he can find on Earth in order to compress them into new stars to replace the ones his Dad destroyed! Imagine that, just going about your daily business and then suddenly being face to tailpipe with a tractor from the farm down the road, and then being shot into space to then explode into a new star.
