8 Ultra Satisfying Video Game Moments Where You Finally Got Revenge

4. Asura's Wrath And The Original God Of War Trilogy

Jules vs Handsome Jack
Capcom

I know it might seem a little cheeky to put two video game franchises that are quite clearly very different to one another in at the same entry, but consider this: on paper the pair really do have similar plots.

They both center around very, VERY angry men who want revenge for those taken from them by actions of a corrupt pantheon of Gods, and both use an unhealthy amount of rage and violence to settle the score. Plus every boss you encounter who begins the fight bragging about their prowess only to be left begging at your feet for forgiveness never gets old.

In both games, you humble each and every toga toting tosspot and each dirty deity who gives you the wrong look, and while Kratos unfortunately never really gets his vengeance in the sense that he never forgives himself until we see the events of the PS4 outing, at least Asura gets to experience victory in the form of freeing his daughter and finally being able to let go of his rage.

Plus it comes thanks to one of the best fights in the game where you batter the piss out of what looks like a haunted piece of tin foil.
