8 Ultra Satisfying Video Game Moments Where You Finally Got Revenge

I think it's fair to say that one of the biggest jaw-dropping moments of the phenomenal Final Fantasy VII came when perennial cheeky whippet and winner of Goth of The Year EVERY YEAR Sephiroth dropped down like a bat out hell and plunged his massive sword (which at this point should be renamed The Cutlass of Compensation) into Aerith right in front of Cloud.

It was a shockingly brutal moment, and in that one instance, players the world over pegged Sephiroth as the new number one on their s**t list. This arguably blew the Shinra corporation out of the water when it came to invoking our rage, which is pretty weird to say considering that this company is literally draining the life force out of the planet, but what can I say EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION WORKS.

From this point onwards there's a burning desire to see Sephiroth fall by our hand (even though technically it was Jenova who killed our beloved party member). It didn't matter though, the game needed this drive and when you finally got to unleash hit after hit on Seppy at the end of the game, it was ultimately, so, so satisfying.
