8 Video Game Achievements That Straight Up Trolled You

As a person who has made a career out of pretty terrible puns, it would be wrong of me to chastise a developer for a bad one-liner here or there. However, have you noticed that so many trophies and achievements have absolutely abysmal names?

Well, Legendary for the PS3, 360, and PC was no exception to this rule and actually seemed to have gone above and beyond when it came to delivering some horrific pun-based trophies. Yet the cream of the crap has to be "DouBULL TrouBULL" which triggers after you've defeated two Minotaurs in a boss battle at the close of Chapter 8. I don't think I need to explain why this is so groan-worthy, but you might not see thanks to your eye rolls that this trophy is only worth 1g on the Xbox 360.

This is because almost immediately afterwards you get ANOTHER achievement which is the devs apologising for their previous terrible pun. It's a novel way to at once land a terribly trolling gag while then also offering an olive branch. Nice touch.
