2. All The Fishing Equipment - Path Of Exile
If you were to take a look over the full item list for Path Of Exile (side note: don't do this because this game is HUGE), you may think to yourself "Hooo boy there sure must be a tonne of fishing in this game considering all the items that give buffs to this skill" and begin preparing your lines and fiddling with your tackle.
Different tackle, get your mind out of the gutter.
However, before you get changed into your bucket hat and fashionable waders here's something to consider. There's no fishing at all in this game.
It's literally just a joke by the devs that for some reason extended to a TONNE of items in the game, many of which boast huge boosts to a mini-game that never was. I mean don't get me wrong I wish I did have a 500% boost to nabbing a mullet, but alas I'll just have to visit TikTok to get my terrible hairstyle fix.
Credit to the devs for really going ham on this fish joke, and for the fact that you can quite literally say that these useless items got people believing hook, line and sinker.
