8 Video Game Sequels That Did Characters Dirty
7. Lucas Grey - Hitman 3
For over 20 years the Hitman franchise hasn’t really been one for introducing new characters that stick around all that long. This has literally been a two-person series for the entire run with players controlling Agent 47 as they get their assignments from Diana
And really, the dynamic duo of death is all the Hitman franchise needed - bar the likes of Alexander Leland Cayne to act as the guy we all want to launch into orbit with a pair of Silver Ballers. So when Lucas Grey was introduced into the mix and wasn’t killed off immediately it was a welcome change to the formula.
There was an intriguing element to Lucas, as you could never really tell whose side he was on and after the new Hitman 2 (why did they call this Hitman 2, there is literally already a Hitman 2?) it all seemed like it was leading to something rather huge for Agent 47.
Well the events of Hitman 3 are pretty big for Agent 47 and Diana as players and long time fans would expect, but as for Lucas Grey, well he just dies somewhere off in the woods almost off-screen. Sure he gets some sort of closure in Dubai, but you can’t help, but feeling a bit empty with his death.
