If you’re going to hop on to any fan bandwagon, Dragon Ball is always going to be a safe bet. It’s one of the most iconic and enduring franchises, has given us some of the most powerful anime moments in history, and when it comes to adapting all of these amazing fight sequences into games they are pure chef kiss.

Well for the most part, for while this franchise does have titles like FighterZ and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 which are stellar represenations of the brand, there’s one title that absolutely Yamcha’d any chance of a perfect run, that being Dragon Ball Z: Sagas.

Here all that layered combat is thrown out the window in exchange for stun locking your opponent with basic kicks and it’s all done to the soundtrack of your character belting out one line of dilaogue over and over. Plus the flying mechanic is absolutely awful, fixing you to a horizontal plane of movement and only being used for collecting ZCoins as there are NO FLYING ENEMIES IN THE GAME.

How could you botch this one feature so badly? Needless to say this isn’t just the black sheep of the family, it’s actively ignored by the fanbase.
