I absolutely love Wario, so much so that I hands down think he's a better star than Mario has ever been. I love how utterly gross and lazy he is, and how little he gives a toss about either of these aspects when it comes to what others think of him. Plus his standalone games are quite frankly amazing, with the brilliance of the Wario Land games only being matched in sheer insanity by his Warioware titles.

Plus that art style on Wario Land: Shake It? Pass me a straw so I can drink it in baby!

However, something even more delicious than these aesthetics can be found in Wario Land 2 which actually hid a completely secret storyline that players could only access by being the laziest man alive! The game begins with The Black Sugar gang invading Wario's Castle and using a giant Clock in order to wake up Wario in order to trick and trap him as he tries to shut it down, however, if players refuse to rise to this challenge or indeed rise from their bed at all and leave the game alone for thirty seconds, they will complete the level and get a brand new narrative!

Here the Black Sugar Gang gets fed up of waiting and throws Wario out on his arse, finally motivating him to kick them out of his gaff! It's a brilliant twist and a great reward for those looking to hit Snooze on the regular story.
