6. Bravely Default Charges Your Attack While The 3DS Is In Sleep Mode
Bravely Default is a 3DS game developed by Silicon Studio; released in 2013 and boasting a Final Fantasy-esque combat system (in fact, the game originally began development as a sequel to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes Of Light).
One of the new things Bravely Default brings to the RPG table are Sleep Points, which allow players to take extra actions during battles. These extra actions can be the difference between winning or losing a fight, so they're a fairly important investment. How you get SP, though, is unique.
For every eight hours that the console is in “sleep mode” with the game on (achieved by simply closing the system in half) you earn a certain amount of the coveted points. Which means taking a healthy break or getting a nice eight hour sleep isn't just a bonus, it's practically encouraged. Now if only there was a way to get extra SP for eating healthy and working out...
