8 Video Games That Should Have Been Movies

5. Mega Man Legends

Now I won't lie here, the main reason I'm putting this entry on the list is because I truly want more people to appreciate how special Mega Man Legends was, as it encompassed a real break from the formula, came with a beautiful new coat of paint and tried to push forward in new and innovative ways.

So of course it died a commercial death.

Now before I bemoan that this game was a gem unfairly buried, there is one point of contention that many had with the game that I have to concede didn't help in the slightest. The bloody camera controls.

In a world of ropey, slippery, and clipping cameras Mega Man Legends is right up there with Drake of the 99 Dragons, and for many it was the sledgehammer that broke the camel's back, meaning they never got to truly immerse themselves into this charming world.

As a film, this would obviously remedy this key issue while also allowing us more time to get to know the wonderful cast of villains in the form of the Bonne family, and allow for kid-friendly action to play out on the big screen which you just know fans would eat up.

With this obvious success on their hands, then you make the video game and do so with a sizeable fanbase ready to see the gameplay switch up.
