GTA: Online never has there been such a hive of scum and villainy.

Seriously, just thinking about going online in GTA 5 makes me sweat as many bullets as my body would be riddled with from just walking down the street in this game.

From flying car drive-bys (or fly-bys?) to booby-trapped vehicles and ever-escalating shootouts, there's never a dull nor safe moment in the online portion of this behemoth of a game. However, if you think you can escape this wasteland and take part in fun missions with friends then you my friend are in for a whole new world of pain.

I'm speaking of course about Heists, the additional, supposedly co-op game mode that gangs can take part in. Now on paper, these seem like pure expressions of teamwork, but in practice usually get flung out of the window the moment that one of your mates can't keep a handle on their trigger finger.

From there things descend into wild shootouts that can go south at a moment's notice, and surprisingly picking up your teammates only for them to drive you into a wall at high speeds isn't conducive to a great vibe.
