8 Video Games With The WRONG Final Boss
2. Unknown - Tekken Tag Tournament
Should've Been: Heihachi Mishima/Someone Known
So while it's clear from the off that Tekken Tag Tournament isn't considered canon by the franchise itself, that doesn't excuse whatever the hell it is that we ended up fighting come the close of the arcade mode.
Anyone expecting to come toe to toe with the likes of Heihachi or any of the Mishima family were surely surprised when Unknown rocked up the rumble, especially seeing as every ounce of her design begs you to ask questions.
As a woman seemingly controlled by the spirit of a wolf who uses her like a puppet, Unknown is a character sure to raise eyebrows, and yet she's given no backstory (in this game at least) and no reason as to why she's posited at the end of the gauntlet. All you do know about her is that compared to the rest of the cheesier than a fromagerie made of stinky stilton bosses, she's actually relatively tame, meaning that Unknown barely lives on in memory outside of the battle itself.
A boring boss without a backstory? Come on guys, you literally make some of the best villains in gaming history and this was the best you could do?
