8 Video Games With The WRONG Final Boss
3. Alpha And Bravo - Vanquish
Should've Been: Victor Zaitsev
When it comes to over the top action, gameplay quicker than a greased up whippet with a bum full of dynamite and a whole host of rascally Russian robots to take down, you really can't do better than Vanquish, a title that sprints out of the gate and never lets up for even a second.
It's such a joy to take gravel-throated Sam Gideon and his endless supply of cigarettes on a journey to stop evil Russian Victor Zaitsev from unleashing the focused solar power of an orbiting space station on Earth, especially when it appears that Sam and Victor will come to blows in the best way possible aka a high-speed robot rumble.
However, the final boss battle in the game against Alpha and Bravo throws a pretty heavy curveball at you, because it turns out that neither of these advanced cybersuits contains the main antagonist!
It turns out that Victor has already left the station, happy that the world is in turmoil and that war is a near certainty so in effect has beaten you! Not that you'd know because Sam and his team celebrate like they'd just dropkicked Stalin in the face and then had a bald eagle take a dump on him, yet in reality, we didn't get to face the boss we really should have.
