8 Video Game Easter Eggs That Will Make You Sweat

There’s a brilliant secret cutscene at the very end of Halo: Combat Evolved. You’ll see Sergeant Johnson wresting with a Covenant Elite for his assault rifle, apparently blissfully unaware that the Halo is about to explode. As they watch the Pillar of Autumns self destruct sequence initiate, Johnson decides to put his hatred aside. 

He grabs his alien foe, says “this is it baby, hold me” and the two former enemies embrace as brothers as they’re blown to bits. It makes for a moving sequence.

To see it, you need to beat the game on Legendary, which is certainly no easy task. Then again, these days you can probably just Youtube the clip if you want the reward without any of the work. No judgement.
