If you’ve never been to Germany, then we encourage you to do so. It’s a lovely country with amazing food, and more foam topped beers than you can possibly drink (though perhaps not for lack of trying). However, they’ve got some understandable reservations when it comes to their country's past, and particularly, anything bordering on the 'Nazi'.

Dead Rising doesn't feature Nazis, yet the entire franchise has never been allowed to be sold within Germany because of its violence towards “human like enemies”. Now let’s break this down a second because you’ll see how weird it is when we do. They DON’T state that there is a problem with the violence towards other survivors and the non-infected, as they specify “human-like” enemies. So the problem is with killing zombies in zany ways?

Are we seeing the rise of the zombie-rights activists that ironically make up the opening of the second game? We're not sure - but neither will the Germans as their large gaming market is 100 percent Frank West Free.
