9 Huge Video Games You Forgot Were Coming In 2019

1. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Can EA be trusted not to balls-up another licensed Star Wars title after the travesty that was Star Wars Battlefront II? Not at all, but with Disney no doubt keeping a close eye on the project following that debacle, Jedi: Fallen Order is safer than most, from excessive monetisation practices.

As for gameplay specifics, Titanfall developer Respawn remains tight-lipped on the matter, though the blurb on Jedi: Fallen Order's website confirms that it will, in fact, be a story-driven affair revolving around a Padawan that survived Palpatine's Jedi purge set shortly after the events of Revenge of the Sith. A strong premise that serves as the perfect launch platform for affording players the chance to grow from novice to Jedi master during the course of the narrative.

Besides that, there remain questions in regards to how much of an influence Visceral's (rest in peace) canned project set in a Galaxy Far, Far Away will have on Respawn's own, with some reports suggesting that it will, at the very least, save some of the unused art assets and characters from the cutting room floor.

For now, all we can do is wait and hope upon hope that Fallen Order turns out to be the single-player Star Wars adventure fans have been screaming for since the original Force Unleashed.
