It may not be everyone’s favourite Devil May Cry game, but whether you love it or hate it, you can’t deny the uniqueness of this extraordinarily clever boss fight.

Bob Barbas works for Raptor News Network as a sensationalist reporter and while that doesn’t conjure any ideas of a particularly interesting faceoff, he’s actually a demon whose true form is a giant floating head made out of screens. The fight transports Dante to earlier fight arenas where you’ll battle through the perspective of news chopper angles as Barbas derides Dante in the voiceover. It’s hugely compelling visually and mechanically. Between the transportation interludes you’ll hack and slash away at Barbas’ head while avoiding his massive AOE attacks. The fight is graphically very impressive and feels just as epic to play as it sounds.

If you ever deeply wanted to fight propaganda in a video game you’d be hard pressed to find a game that lets you do that quite like this one.
