9 Mysterious Creatures Hidden In Famous Video Games

7. Lord Of The Pies - Dragon Age: Inquisition

If you think you've had enough weird for one day, think again: let's talk about a pie wearing a top hat.

Sprawling RPG epic Dragon Age: Inquisition already contains its fair share of mystical and fantastical creatures, including dwarves, elves, and giant spiders, but its most curious inclusion can be found by falling through the floor of the Skyhold area (not something players are meant to be able to do), and entering a secret area.

Here, you'll find a pie. A pie wearing a top hat. A pie with pointy ears and googly eyes. It doesn't move, talk, or do anything else. It just sits there, judging you. When word of this strange sight began doing the rounds and it made its way to YouTube, one of the game's developers commented that they'd hidden it there, and were shocked that players had discovered it so quickly - just two days after launch.

You have to get lucky in order to encounter this Lord Of The Pies for yourself, since, again, you're not normally allowed to just fall through the level and reach it. But if you do, please don't try and eat it. This is a peaceful pie.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
