6. World Of Horror

My personal favourite on the list, World of Horror looks like no other horror game on the market. Adopting a "one-bit" style that appears to have come straight from the pages of the scariest Japanese manga, the title has been described as a mix of Junji and H.P. Lovecraft which, honestly, should be enough to get any fan frothing at the mouth.

From a gameplay perspective, World of Horror leans on the tropes of your average Roguelike, as players explore a town, engage in some turn-based combat, and also lose their minds to a spot of cosmic horror here and there.

Currently, part of the game is already out in early access on Steam, where it boasts ridiculously good reviews from players. Fortunately, console fans will be able to see what all the fuss is about when it drops on PS4 and Nintendo Switch at the end of the year.
