9 Times Wrestlers Used Their Finishing Moves In Video Games

6. Kazuchika Okada - Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life

The stupendously entertaining Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life capitalises on the surging popularity of New Japan Pro Wrestling in recent years by having numerous prominent NJPW wrestlers appears as scarcely fictionalised, playfully exaggerated versions of themselves.

The game features appearances from the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima, Tetsuya Naito, Toru Yano, and most amusingly, the great Kazuchika Okada.

Though Okada and others can be fought in the coliseum in Yakuza Kiwami 2, he appears in a beefier optional boss fight in Yakuza 6, where he doesn't merely wail away on Kiryu in generic brawler fashion, but will occasionally pull out his in-ring finisher, the Rainmaker, if you get too close.

Respect to Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio for actually making the effort to mo-cap the move rather than just giving him a stock move set as expected.

Check out Okada's Rainmaker for yourself at 1:55 in the clip below:
