The story mode for Batman: Arkham Asylum was incredible. But since the side-missions revolved around obtaining many, many, many Riddler trophies, it was a bit of a chore for completionists.

Fortunately, the bonus quests in the sequels have a lot more variety, especially with the fourth instalment, Batman: Arkham Knight. Now, if you just focus on the necessary missions, you will face off against classic villains like Man-Bat, Harley Quinn, and the Scarecrow.

But if you want to see the obscurer members of Batman's rogue gallery, you'll have to check out the Most Wanted side quests. That way, you can battle supervillains you wouldn't otherwise find in the main story including Ra's Al Ghul, Azrael, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Firefly, and the Mad Hatter.

Fan-favourites like Professor Pyg and Deacon Blackfire make their Arkham debut in this game but you only encounter them by taking part in a few of the extracurricular tasks.

Even though Most Wanted missions are inessential, every one of them is absolutely crammed with injokes, Easter eggs, and comic book references, which every DC purist will appreciate.
