AEW Fight Forever Game: 10 Reasons To Be Worried

7. Fight Forever's Reveals Have Been Lame

AEW's latest 'Arcade' reveal with Evil Uno, Aubrey Edwards, Kris Statlander and Adam Cole was frankly sh*te. The quartet had scraps of info to talk about, but they were nonetheless tasked with acting like what was shown would revolutionise wrestling games forever. It's worrying that AEW and Yuke’s thought this tripe was good enough.

It wasn't.

Compare and contrast these with the reveals 2K used to do for their WWE games. Pre-2K20, they were always superb when it came to building excitement for things like who'd be on the roster or any new features that would be part of the game. Meanwhile, in AEW, fans get 10 minutes of chatter and 30-second clips of gameplay if they're lucky.

Worse, AEW themselves hyped these reveals on official social media streams as if they'd be must-see or drop some massive bombshells. Neither reveal showcase has done that yet, so fans would be forgiven for skipping the next one entirely.
