If you haven't been following the much anticipated sequel, Alan Wake's American Nightmare centers around Alan Wake, the champion of light as he travels across Arizona to reach the town of Night Springs in search to save his wife Alice. Fiction and dreams come true in the world of Alan Wake, and as a result Mr. Scratch, a fictional character from the world of fiction Alan Wake creates, has become a terrifying reality. Following the events of the original title, Alan Wake must battle the supernatural serial killer, Mr. Scratch, who has taken over Alan's life. Through Wake's disappearance after the events of the first game, Mr. Scratch has now become a legend, forcing Alan to travel the deserts of Arizona, finding video tapes and messages Mr. Scratch leaves behind to torment Wake. Armed with an arsenal of new weapons, such as the nail guns and submachine guns, expect much more action this time around. With a new mode titled Fight Till Dawn, you must rack up a score multiplier, and survive through the night scoring as many points as possible.
