Tedious peddlers of platitudes will be quick to tell you that "money doesn't grow on trees you know!" at the first hint of profligacy, but that tired cliché doesn't apply in Animal Crossing. It's still a capitalist grind in which you work to pay off your debts, but thankfully bells - the native currency - are a little easier to sprout.

If you dig up a bag of bells from a glowing hole, resist the temptation to shove them immediately in your wallet. Instead, 'plant' them back in the spot like you would a fruit. A little while later, a tree will grow bearing oodles of riches. It pays to be prudent!
