Taking the series in a bold new direction, Assassin's Creed: Origins took us to Ancient Egypt to discover the origins of the Assassins and their ensuing feud with the Templars.

Playing as Bayek, one of the last surviving Medjay, players will travel across Egypt on a quest to hunt down members of a shadowy organisation named The Order Of The Ancients following a traumatic event in which Bayek's young son is killed after the pair are captured.

Joining forces with Aya, Bayek's wife, and Cleopatra to eliminate everyone involved in the Order, the trail will eventually lead Bayek to none other than historical heavyweight Julius Caesar.

Supported by the Order after becoming the leader of the Roman Republic, Caesar would ultimately become the Order's Grand Master and Father Of Understanding. However, his lust for power would see him become a target of the Hidden Ones. And while Bayek preoccupied himself with taking out Caesar's general, the one who killed his son, Aya travelled to Rome to assassinate Caesar.

Seeing this historic figure brought to life is just one part of what made Origins fantastic; and being the one to start his famous assassination is all the more satisfying.
