Assassin's Creed: Ranking All The Assassins From Worst To Best

5. Evie Frye

Assassin's Creed characters
Ubisoft

Jacob's slightly older twin in Syndicate, Evie's attentions in the game were less about brash and explosive actions, and more about locating the mysterious Shroud of Eden.

Dedicated to eradicating Templar control from the heart of Victorian London and improving the lives of its poverty-stricken people, Evie is far more of an assassin than her brother.

Wholeheartedly believing in the creed and the Brotherhood, Evie understands the value of secrecy and discretion much more than Jacob and is constantly bemoaning his approach to their missions.

From discovering a treasure trove of Edward Kenway's personal memorabilia, to literally helping Florence Nightingale heal the sick, there are so many moments that help make Evie a memorable and enjoyable protagonist to play as.

In fact, the only thing that holds Evie back from being amongst the very best of the Assassin's Creed franchise is the fact that she spends so much time having to almost play babysitter to Jacob.

It's frustrating for players, who are nine games into the franchise by the time they pick up Syndicate, to have to listen to someone explaining how important a Piece of Eden is so much to someone who doesn't believe in it.
