Assassin's Creed: Ranking All The Assassins From Worst To Best
4. Bayek Of Siwa
Probably the world's very first Assassin, Bayek of Siwa is a nomadic warrior who players take control of throughout Assassin's Creed: Origins. The story of how the split and subsequent conflict between Templar and Assassin truly kicked off, Origins is a powerful title that really went all out in creating a main character who would be able to represent these themes nicely.
Fuelled by the loss of his son at the hands of the Order of the Ancients - a group that would later on become the Templar Order during the Crusades - Bayek's story begins as one of revenge and vengeance. As the game progresses, though, it becomes so much more, as the secretive world of this group becomes more and more revealed.
With ties to important historical characters such as Cleopatra and Julius Caesar, Bayek is where everything started from. Despite having initially worked as a protector of the Pharoahs, Bayek's story eventually leads him down a path of believing in freedom and liberty. This leads to his establishment of the future Brotherhood, known in the game as the Hidden Ones, which really is a moment that every fan of the series should take the time to enjoy.
