3. Will We See More Of Rebecca And Shaun?
First appearing in Assassin’s Creed II, sharp-witted historian Shaun Hastings and hot-headed techie Rebecca Crane became key players in the series. Members of the Assassins, it was their prerogative to help Desmond with his Assassin training while using data uncovered from his memories to stay one step ahead of the Templars in their aim of world domination.
Brought to life with fantastic performances by Danny Wallace and Eliza Schneider respectively, the chemistry between these two companions brought a lot of heart and comedy into the series. It was a delight watching these two playfully bicker and they were reason enough to spend some time out of the Animus.
With the conclusion of Desmond’s story in Assassin’s Creed III, though, Rebecca and Shaun were likewise removed from the picture. Appearing briefly in Black Flag and in a cinematic at the end of Syndicate, the absence of these fan-favourite characters was felt.
Thankfully, Valhalla saw them return to the series. But are they back for good this time?
Although Valhalla did end with the pair leaving to fetch Assassin Mentor William Miles, we hope that they’ll stick around for a little longer.
