8. Rocksteady's Next Project Tease - Superman? Suicide Squad?
Rocksteady have joked about quitting the industry after AK, as let's face it their run is pretty spectacular up to this point, and it would be quite the landmark release to leave on. However, there have also been plenty rumours about a Suicide Squad game being lined up to coincide with 2016's (provisional) Suicide Squad release date, and sure that would mean the devs have been working on two titles at once all along, but
it's not unheard of. A more realistic assumption, considering their mention of wanting to get away from doing Bat-related games, would be to switch characters altogether and opt for someone who'll open up in-air combat possibilities and a host of other gameplay mechanics; Superman. They definitely know how to deliver some bone-crunching combat, and throwing in the option to take to the skies, an open-world Metropolis or just the quick-access buttons to all of Supes' powers at once would be perfect. Regardless of what actually happens, Rocksteady should throw something in there that alludes to where they're heading next - even if it takes us years to find like the Arkham City blueprints tucked away inside Warden Sharp's office from Asylum (more on them later).
