Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Easter Eggs That Would Rule
9. The Arkham Knight's Identity Being A Hush Nod
Spoilers for Jeph Loeb's Hush follow. Comic fans who've dove into the spectacular Hush series will know - and if you haven't checked it out, consider it prime Bat-fan reading - there are a number of fake-out reveals behind his identity before the big finale. One such fantastic scene comes about halfway through as Bruce sees the (at the time) deceased Jason Todd standing in front of him, only for a number of twists upon twists to reveal it was actually Clayface and the real Todd (once DC decided they were bringing him back in Under The Hood), thereby opening up the floodgates for another Clayface-style switcheroo in AK. Obviously the shape-shifting menace played a key part in Joker's 'Is he/Is he not? dying'-shtick from Arkham City, but after the witch hunt that continues to be unravelling the Knight's identity, playing around with fan expectations like this, cycling through Todd, Joker or even Bruce's father (a popular choice on the forums) would be amazing.
