7. Group-Takedown Batarang

Seen in: Batman Returns We've had remote Batarangs before, but not one that we didn't have to pilot every movement of like this. Pioneered by Tim Burton and never seen again, this version of the iconic weapon seemed to be programmed to learn which perps' teeth to knock in through a quick sonar-sweep, before taking off to dispatch them one by one and returning to Bats' hand. Or at least that's the idea anyway, as in the movie a small dog ends up catching it instead, which hopefully won't be a problem on the streets of Gotham. Although you could argue that deploying a handful of these things at once makes any fight too easy, if instead you could throw one out top mop up some stragglers from outside your immediate vicinity before tackling those closer by, working in tandem with your own gadgetry would be one hell of an impressive sight.
