8. Azrael's Prophecy
Finally, after numerous attempts to analyse the message by legions of Arkham fans, Rocksteady look set to bring closure to the words offered by Michael Lane at the end of their first sequel. In case you missed it the first time around, Azrael (who we know to be Michael Lane in the Arkhamverse) came to Bruce with a prophecy in Arkham City - something the trailer directly references. It is now clear that the Order of St. Dumas will have a role to play in the threequel, and Lane will be more than pivotal to the plot and how it progresses. Either way, we now know that the 'fire' that has erupted from the 'Ashes of Arkham City' is highly likely to be a direct reference to the Arkham Knight, whose fate seems inseparable and intertwined with all of Arkham as we know it. Is it possible the Knight was a victim of Protocol 10? Only time will tell.
