3. Allies Taking Down Different Villains
As has been made very clear by Knight's marketing so far, Batman is definitely no one man army, and is increasingly in danger of over-stretching himself both mentally and physically. Not only is this dangerous as it makes Bruce more vulnerable, but it also has the effect of leaving his allies more susceptible to attacks from his enemies. Thankfully, Batman isn't without help, as it looks as though his most famous allies are set to take the fight to Scarecrow and those who have taken control of the city - taking the 'divide and conquer' approach to warfare quite literally. The trailer depicts Catwoman fighting green automatons with Batman in what looks to be a room very much akin to Riddler's general aesthetic, and Robin is seen taking down thugs dressed in a distinct red and black garb - the colours of everyone's favourite Harleen Quinzel. It's never really made obvious just who Nightwing is tackling in the trailer, but there's a good chance the thugs could belong to either Two Face or Penguin - the latter more so considering the lack of a 50/50 theme in the thugs that we've seen in all of Knight's trailers. Whether these are side missions or key components of the main story is unknown, but it goes without saying that they'll be Knight's favourite element for many a Bat-fan come its release.
