3. It Has An M Rating

Not necessarily a 'plot detail' in terms of specificity, but a big change-up for the standard ratings given to these games, as even though both Asylum and City received Teen labels, Knight is getting slapped with the big M - meaning it'll most likely be an 18 in the UK. Whether or not that's because of the nightmare-inducing imagery of Scarecrow, some curse words that maybe get flung about constantly enough to warrant such a thing or because something like the death of Batman is handled in such a visceral way it'd ruin a million childhoods at the drop of a broken cowl - we'll have to wait and see. Either way it's the first time the series has had to receive such a thing, and with Rocksteady accepting it rather than trying to challenge the content flagged within, it means we could be in for one of the darkest Batman arcs since the emergence of the new, facially-butchered Joker.
