Although the hulking Venom-infused brute himself sits this game out, Bane's presence is still felt through a billboard you can find on the streets advertising 'Santa Prisca' - the birthplace of Bane himself. Across the main game he actually doesn't appear - perhaps due to the brilliantly unique version of the character seen in The Dark Knight Rises, as Rocksteady perhaps decided against doing another one of their 'charge n' dodge'-style boss fights that we've seen in every previous instalment? Rather than leave him out altogether, it's far more likely Bane will make an appearance in either the Gotham City Stories or Batgirl DLC packs.
