Batman: Arkham Knight Batgirl DLC - 9 Big Things It Finally Gets Right
8. Batgirl's Combat
Despite the odd rehashed animation here and there, it's very much clear that WBGM have heeded player concerns after Deathstroke was so poorly received in Origins - this particular Batgirl feels just as new as any Rocksteady character. Barbara's fighting style is very much comparable to Catwoman's, but it's one that feels far more skilful and precise in a way akin to Batman's. It's fast, fluid, and feels anything but recycled - especially when the added bonus of dual play is thrown into the mix. It's a huge shame that Barbara wasn't given any substantially new gadgets, but hacking the environment in inventive ways is especially fun to partake in. The aforementioned dual play feature makes a great return to Knight's gameplay, though the ability to choose your partner would've been a much welcomed addition as well. It's just as fun as it was in the main game, but an entirely new character to play with spices up the formula brilliantly.
