5. A Sense Of Humour

008 Brilliant though Battlefield 3 is on a technical level, it could use something of a personality transplant; playing it, there's no in-built sense of humour or joviality, and instead it becomes far too steeped in its own self-seriousness for what is fundamentally a bit of fun. Call of Duty got the right idea by introducing Zombies mode to lighten the load, and this has proven one of the most popular additions in the franchise's history. While it would be crass for EA to copy Activision's clever idea, they're surely not beyond putting their own quirky stamp on things? Aside from a few easter eggs teasing dinosaurs, the series is short on laughs, and could certainly use some to prevent things from getting stale. Could dinosaurs actually work as the series' equivalent to zombies?
