1. The Fate Of Former Protagonists (GTA: IV)
The fate of former Grand Theft Auto protagonists will remain a mystery now, unfortunately, since Rockstar aren't going to touch on their story-arch again. Did Tommy Vercetti outlive the Cuban gangsters chasing after his empire? Did Claude ever learn to speak? How was CJ's life post-Officer Tenpenny? Sadly these are questions of which the answers remain complete conjecture. You can come up with your own interpretations of what happened to each of them I suppose, but there are a few clues pertaining to their fate in Grand Theft Auto IV. Graffiti is scrawled on the walls of several buildings reading "RIP Claude!" and suggestions are made that other GTA protagonists have also perished. This might just be Rockstar's way of saying in a metaphorical way that they have moved on from these characters - indeed the only on-screen death of a former protagonist thus far was that of Victor Vance. Perhaps they are still living happily ever after somewhere?
