2. Reference To Former Protagonists (GTA: San Andreas)

For me, the ultimate Easter Egg in any game, let alone Grand Theft Auto, is one that pays homage to a former protagonist from the game's series.
We know that the likes of Claude, Tommy Vercetti, Carl Johnson and Niko Bellic aren't ever going to be seen in a GTA game again, because they are from "a different GTA universe" from that of V. However, it is still fun to go back with misty eyes and relive the nostalgia. In San Andreas, Claude, the mute protagonist of GTA III, features in two missions while Tommy Vercetti is referred to by his former lawyer friend Ken Rosenberg during the mission "The Meat Business" in which he confuses CJ with his former Hawaiian-shirt wearing friend. Lance Vance, one of the villains from Vice City, features alongside Tommy as an action figure in Zero's RC shop in San Fierro. Memories...
