6. The Driver
Tommy Vercetti is planning a heist at a bank in Little Havana in Vice City, and he has the majority of his team sorted, the only man left to recruit is a get-away driver, and Vercetti is directed to Hilary King, whom Phil Cassidy claims is "the real deal" and declares "you ain't never seen someone drive so fast". Sounds good, only there's a catch - Tommy has to beat Hilary in a street race before procuring his services as a get-away driver for the group. If beating Hilary wasn't difficult enough (the guy drives aggressively, and will not hesitate to ram you out of the way into a wall or lamp post), you also have a two-star wanted level to contend with, as well, for illegal street racing. The police will force you off the road if given the chance, costing you precious seconds in the race against the clock as well as damaging your car, sometimes causing it to explode if it takes enough of a battering. You need maximum concentration and a steady hand for this one, and your adrenaline will be pumping by the mission's end.
