Bloodborne: 10 Fan Demands It Must Meet

3. Let There Be Miyazaki

Director Hidetaka Miyazaki is largely to thank for Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, while two newcomers€”Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura, who were hand-picked by Miyazaki€”piloted Dark Souls 2. Meaning no offense to Tanimura or Shibuya, their turn at the reins resulted in an experience, while stellar, somewhat lacking in the atmosphere its predecessors delivered. With Miyazaki returning to the helm for Bloodborne's development, it will be the deciding factor in whether his directorship is the source of that ambiance. Fortunately, Miyazaki has already taken to the PlayStation Blog to explain his intentions with Bloodborne. More aggressive and dynamic combat, a new emphasis on exploration, and an undying sense of new€”he's made some big promises already, and has the résumé to back them up. All From Software needs to do now is let him run his show.

A freelance games writer, you say? Typically battling his current RPG addiction and ceaseless perfectionism? A fan of horror but too big a sissy to play for more than a couple of hours? Spends far too much time on JRPGs and gets way too angry with card games? Well that doesn't sound anything like me.
