2. It Has To Be Hard

If game reviews were limited to one word, you can bet Souls games would spark arguments of plagiarism. Crushing, brutal, unforgiving, difficult, relentless€”they've been called many things, but at their core, they are hard. Interestingly, merely being hard has gained the series much of its fame. In an age where games so frequently hold their players by the hand, it seems gamers were eager to be thrown to the wolves once more, and From Software delivered. So you can bet that with this and any subsequent Souls installments, players will riot if they don't risk breaking their controller or their thumbs. We're already picking out plexiglas and notably rage-proof cases for our TV; don't waste them.
