3. Calypso Twins Are The Main Villains

After Borderlands 2's Handsome Jack, Gearbox have set the bar high when it comes to the franchise's villains. Trying to fill the hole left by that enigmatic murderer, the devs have opted for two main bad guys this time around: The Calypso Twins.

A lot of their story is still a mystery, but based off interviews and the trailers released so far, some information has trickled out. First up is that their names are Tyreen and Troy, and they're both Sirens. That last piece of information is particularly interesting, as so far all the Sirens in Borderlands have been women, making Troy the first male in the group.

The two siblings are the leaders of the Children of the Vault, apparently "the most ruthless cult leaders in the galaxy". Even based off the small amount of footage released so far, that description seems pretty spot on.
