1. Liu Kang (Mortal Kombat)
Liu Kang is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series and is the best and most well known Bruce Lee analogue. Kang is one of the original characters from the first Mortal Kombat arcade game in 1992 (originally depicted as a Shaolin monk). Hailing from Honan Province, China, he is one of Earthrealm's finest warriors. He is the main protagonist of the first four games, the live-action films and the original comic book series and was the champion of the Mortal Kombat tournament throughout the first four instalments - a title that remained undisputed in the original timeline. His original appearance saw him with a bare chest, black pants and white shoes - just like Bruce Lee's stereotypical appearance. Later, he would be depicted with messy black hair, a red headband, spiked gauntlets and red and black Kung Fu pants, but still mostly keeping his upper body bare. The ongoing use of dragons in Kang's techniques (indeed, in some instances he can turn in to a dragon as part of his "animality" move-set) further pay homage to Lee, whose Chinese screen name was Li Siu-Long or "little dragon".
