Thanks to the massive amounts of money generated by the Call of Duty series, Activision has been able to hire the services of some of the best and brightest, including some familiar faces from Hollywood. Featured in both the promotional material and the games themselves, there have been several notable celebrity appearances in the franchise. You're probably familiar with many of them, such as Kiefer Sutherland in World at War, and Gary Oldman in Black Ops, but there are also some less acknowledged cast members in the series. Most famous for his role as Gob in Arrested Development, he was approached by Infinity Ward to appear in the title.
