Call of Duty's World War II obsession seems to finally be dead, albeit after a couple of reprisals. For years, the series was stuck in the past with a constant reuse of guns, maps and locations until Call of Duty 4 changed everything, turning the series into one of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world and nowadays, the yearly Call of Duty release is something to get very excited about. Advanced Warfare is the name of the game this year and it looks like it will be something special. Sledgehammer Games are taking control of the series for the first time and they've brought a series of innovations and new features to help reinvigorate the series after the general 'meh' feeling that accompanied Ghosts. Sledgehammer have taken the series into the distant future (2054) and the game has undergone a high-tech remake to accompany. The variety of trailers and teasers have whet our appetites, but with the imminent launch of the game it's time to finally get down to business - is this year's Call of Duty going to be worth your valuable cash?
